Victoria Legrand
Victoria Garance Alixe Legrand (born May 28, 1981) is an American musician, best known as the vocalist and keyboardist for the dream pop band Beach House. She is the daughter of a painter and the niece of French composer Michel Legrand.
==Life and career==
Legrand was born in Paris, France, but was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With Scally, Legrand has recorded six studio albums for Beach House in their hometown Baltimore, Maryland, including self-titled debut ''Beach House, Devotion, Teen Dream, '' ''Bloom,'' ''Depression Cherry'' and ''Thank Your Lucky Stars''. Legrand has emphasized Beach House's songwriting philosophy and motivations as musicians and artists.
